Technical Sales Executive – Electronic Components

About the role

Indus Technologies is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Executive to drive sales of electronic components and semiconductor products across the UAE. The role combines technical understanding with B2B sales activities, primarily operating from a home office while visiting customers as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the UAE.
• Generate leads via calls, emails, networking and online research.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, EMS firms, industrial, automotive, telecom and electronics clients.
• Promote electronic components and semiconductor solutions, understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Manage enquiries, RFQs, quotations, samples and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal technical teams to support customer needs.
• Maintain sales pipelines, support negotiations and assist in closing orders.
• Visit customers across the UAE when required.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in electronic components, semiconductors, technical or B2B sales.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and semiconductor products.
• Current residence in the UAE with a valid dependent visa; UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently from home and generate leads.

Required skills

• Knowledge of microcontrollers and integrated circuits (ICs).
• Familiarity with analog and power‑management ICs, discrete semiconductors.
• Understanding of passive components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors.
• Experience with connectors, sensors and power devices.
