Technical Sales Representative – Industrial Aftermarket

About the role

Our client, an international engineering group, is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to grow its industrial aftermarket business in Dubai and the wider Middle East. The role combines field‑based sales, technical product knowledge, and distributor management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new industrial customers and identify business opportunities.
• Build and execute a prospecting plan for end‑users.
• Visit customers to understand technical and maintenance requirements.
• Promote, demonstrate and test mechanical/industrial products.
• Convert opportunities into orders and achieve annual sales targets.
• Develop and support relationships with distributors, sales teams and technical managers.
• Provide technical training and support to distributors and end‑users.
• Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate orders, deliveries and payments.
• Maintain customer and opportunity data in the CRM.
• Monitor competitors, market developments and work closely with Customer Service, Engineering and Marketing.
• Travel regularly across the Middle East region.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales, industrial aftermarket, or mechanical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, materials and industrial maintenance.
• Proven ability to prospect new business and develop relationships with end‑users and distributors.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Independent, comfortable managing a regional territory.
• Fluent Arabic and English; French is a plus.

What we offer

• Base salary equivalent to approx. €71,000, paid in AED.
• Annual bonus up to 20% of base salary.
