Technical Sales Representative - Water Treatment

About the role

Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join its sales team in Dubai. The role drives revenue and profit growth in targeted accounts through a consultative approach: building relationships with existing customers, converting strategic competitive accounts and selling new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and execute sales plans in the existing customer base and assigned competitively-held accounts to meet profit increase goals
• Work with current and prospective customers to understand their needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives
• Provide technical support, identify and resolve customer challenges and escalate where needed
• Perform system analysis, interpret data and give written recommendations so customer operations run at optimal levels
• Sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technologies in assigned customers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (engineering or life sciences preferred)
• Three years of technical sales or field sales support experience
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Preferred: water treatment or specialty chemicals industry experience, and working knowledge of OR operations, wet end chemistry and pulp mill operations
• Immigration sponsorship is not available
