Technical Sales Specialist – Detergent & Cleaning Industry

About the role

A brand-new industrial enzyme manufacturing facility in the Sharjah SAIF Zone is looking for an entrepreneurial, high-drive sales professional to build its market presence from scratch in the formulation and detergent sectors. The role suits someone who thrives on autonomy and is motivated by direct financial rewards, with extensive travel across the UAE, GCC and wider MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new business accounts in industrial and consumer detergent manufacturing.
• Present the enzyme portfolio to clients' R&D, procurement and technical teams, showing how the products improve formulation performance and reduce costs.
• Travel extensively to meet clients, audit manufacturing requirements and close deals.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle, from technical sampling and lab trials to commercial negotiation and long-term account management.
• Manage sales forecasting and pipeline metrics, which directly affect the company's net profitability.

Required profile

• Experience selling industrial chemicals, ingredients or enzymes to the detergent or FMCG sector is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related technical field preferred.
• Valid passport, UAE driving licence, UAE residency and willingness to travel frequently across the region.
• Self-starter, resilient, culturally aware and commercially sharp, with excellent negotiation skills.
