Technical Service Engineer – Jewellery Machinery

About the role

Technical Service Engineer – Jewellery Machinery responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining a range of jewellery production equipment across the UAE and GCC. The role involves on‑site travel to customer facilities and occasional training sessions abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission jewellery machinery, including CNC machines, 3D printers, casting machines and laser welding equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electronic and circuit‑board faults; perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Train customers on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and equipment manuals.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic components.
• Coordinate with international suppliers’ technical teams for advanced troubleshooting and support.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience servicing industrial machinery, with hands‑on circuit‑board repair and fine SMD soldering.
• UAE driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally abroad for supplier training.

Required skills

• Circuit‑board repair and fine SMD soldering.
• Power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies and induction heating systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens and stepper/servo drives.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes and reading circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
