Technical Services Engineer - Aircraft Systems

About the role
The Technical Services Engineer will develop, manage and monitor aircraft systems to ensure reliability, airworthiness and fleet readiness. You will work closely with line maintenance, hangar teams, CAMO departments and external partners to optimise maintenance programmes and implement corrective actions.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily engineering maintenance activities across line, hangar, MCC and other CAMO units.
- Analyse performance data, conduct root‑cause investigations and recommend technical modifications.
- Liaise with airlines, OEMs and regulatory authorities on modifications, corrective measures and project approvals.
- Review technical documentation (TPM section 5) and manage implementation of repairs or modifications.
- Partner with Projects, Warranty, Legal and Finance to develop new initiatives, contracts and service level agreements.
- Assist line managers in creating procedures, specifications and Engineering Operational Standards (EOS).
- Provide guidance to MROs, communicate mandatory changes and support closure of occurrence reports and audit findings.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, conferences and industry events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering, Electro‑Mechanical, Aeronautical or a related field (or equivalent higher diploma with experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in maintenance or reliability engineering.
- Certificates or training in Project Management, Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting or Quality Assurance are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MRO software tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
