Technical Support & Application Engineer – Emergency Lighting (Middle East)

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Technical Support and Application Engineer to join its Emergency Lighting team in the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will provide expert technical assistance, troubleshoot systems, and ensure customer satisfaction across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot emergency lighting systems for customers and internal teams.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with sales to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as manuals, guides, and FAQs.
• Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Graduate engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of techno‑commercial experience with extensive knowledge of emergency lighting systems and applications.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Emergency Lighting and Safety Systems expertise.
• AutoCAD and lighting design software (Dialux) proficiency.
• Experience in troubleshooting, testing & commissioning of systems.
• Fire alarm system knowledge (strong plus).
• Electrical product and instrumentation knowledge.
