Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the Options Technical Support Team in Dubai. The role involves on‑site support for our client’s Options trading technology, ensuring smooth operation of the infrastructure in a fast‑paced financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary technical contact, delivering on‑site support for all Options technology systems.
• Monitor system health, perform regular maintenance, software updates and configuration changes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to internal teams as needed.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, following incident management processes.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Collaborate with Options Technology teams on system enhancements, upgrades, testing and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of on‑site technical support experience within financial services.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with a client‑focused mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage independent projects.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site with clients.
