Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a leading global financial technology company in Dubai. You will work on‑site with the client’s technology team, providing day‑to‑day technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the technology infrastructure that underpins a global financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support and act as the primary technical contact for the client.
• Monitor systems and infrastructure for performance and availability.
• Carry out software updates, maintenance and configuration changes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to specialist teams.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and proactively address technical requirements.
• Support system enhancements and upgrades through testing and validation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of on‑site technical support experience, preferably in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client‑facing approach.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Endpoint Management and device deployment expertise.
• AV troubleshooting skills.
• CompTIA A+, MCSA or equivalent certifications (advantageous but not essential).
