Technical Team Lead (General) - LV Systems

About the role

An experienced Technical Team Lead (General) with strong Low Voltage (LV) Systems experience is sought to join a team in the UAE. The role covers hands-on work on LV electrical systems maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and technical operations, with the ability to lead and support maintenance activities across different environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair LV electrical systems, power distribution and control systems.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of LV equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and LV panel issues and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable electrical standards.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of LV systems.
• Monitor system performance and respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical reports.
• Support other MEP maintenance activities when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical or E&I.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in LV systems maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of LV panels, electrical distribution and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and standards.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working onsite across different environments, with frequent travel as required.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, BMS or general maintenance is an advantage.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Honeywell DDC engineering software and Rockwell engineering software.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts.
