About the role
We are looking for a Technician Painter to join the maintenance team at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. The role involves preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces throughout the hotel to maintain its high‑standard appearance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks, and apply primer where required.
- Apply paints, varnishes and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, windows and other structures, ensuring uniform coverage.
- Mix paints and stains to achieve the specified colour and consistency.
- Carry out minor maintenance and repairs such as drywall fixing and wood sanding before painting.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Required profile
- At least 1 month of practical painting experience.
- Ability to work on both interior and exterior hotel areas.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes.
Required skills
- Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes
- Painting techniques
- Use of brushes
- Safety protocols related to painting and maintenance work
