Technology Engineer - Digital Workplace

About the role

The Technology Engineer supports the digital workplace service lines by helping build new mobility solutions across functions and with different teams. The role covers defining, executing and managing mobility solutions, providing knowledge bases, FAQs and SOPs for evaluated solutions including L3 support, and working closely with the IT Operations team so products run reliably day-to-day.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and analyse data for endpoint management; liaise with cross-functional IT infrastructure team members.
• Deliver project elements, highlight issues and risks, and keep the project schedule and baselines under control.
• Provide advanced support for Microsoft Teams and collaboration services, including incident resolution, root cause analysis and service restoration.
• Configure, test and maintain Teams policies, meeting features, app integrations and collaboration controls.
• Develop knowledge articles, SOPs and user guidance for Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Monitor collaboration service health, adoption and usage trends and recommend improvements to security and user experience.
• Work with third-party vendors on testing and product evaluation, and help steer implementations according to bank strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of related experience in enterprise mobile and virtual solutions.
• 3+ years in a banking operational environment or equivalent.
• 4+ years in ITIL Service Management processes, Change and Release.
• University degree in Information Technology.
• Preferred: ENBD-specific knowledge of business requirements and responsibilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune and SCCM), Microsoft Teams administration, Windows Autopilot, Conditional Access, BitLocker and device encryption.
• Technical documentation, patch management, root cause analysis and Tier 2/3 support.
• Modern Desktop deployment, process automation, collaboration tool integrations and ITIL-based support processes.
• Certifications: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation.
