Telecommunications Agent / Telephone Operator

About the role

The Telecommunications Agent / Telephone Operator will be the first point of contact for guests calling the resort, delivering luxury‑standard telephone service. You will provide accurate information, handle requests and support various hotel departments through the phone system.

Key responsibilities

• Answer all incoming and internal calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate information about resort facilities, services, events, dining options and operating hours.
• Handle guest requests, wake‑up calls and emergency calls, routing them to the appropriate department.
• Log guest requests, complaints and follow‑ups in the system.
• Coordinate with front office and guest services to support VIPs and special requests.
• Operate the hotel’s PBX/telephone system and ensure correct call routing.
• Assist with international calls and language needs when required.
• Support other departments during peak hours or special events.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills with a pleasant voice.
• Strong knowledge of resort services and layout.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and maintain a customer‑focused mindset.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a 5‑star luxury property.
• Fluent in English; additional language (e.g., Russian) is an asset.
