Telemarketing Executive

About the role

The Telemarketing Executive will handle both inbound web‑based enquiries and outbound calls to generate sales for Cigna Healthcare. Working under the Telesales Manager, you will guide customers through eligibility, plan benefits and policy terms, aiming to close sales while ensuring a smooth, compliant process.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and internet enquiries, providing accurate information on eligibility, benefits and policy terms.
• Generate sales through outbound calls to leads sourced from the website.
• Achieve and exceed sales, productivity and quality targets set by management.
• Maintain accurate records, files and CRM entries.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including client management, medical staff and colleagues—to resolve customer issues.
• Support less‑experienced team members and contribute to team objectives.
• Identify process improvements and suggest recommendations to the Team Leader.
• Perform other ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in health‑insurance telemarketing, inbound or outbound sales.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and follow clear instructions.
• Regulatory awareness and ability to sell with integrity.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Basic navigation of computer systems and CRM tools.
• Proficient keyboard typing skills.
