Teller – Branch Banking

About the role

Deliver quality teller service to customers at the Shaikh Zayed Road branch in Dubai, processing cash and transaction services while representing ADIB’s professional image. This position is open to UAE nationals only.

Key responsibilities

• Process all teller counter transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchases/sales, and cheque deposits.
• Liaise with the Treasury department to obtain the best rates for VIP and high‑net‑worth customers in coordination with HOPs.
• Serve Private Banking customers at dedicated counters and handle any new counter‑service transactions introduced by ADIB.
• Cross‑sell or refer product inquiries from prospective customers to the sales team.
• Act as one of the dual custodians for branch vault cash and security stationery, assisting the HOP as second custodian.
• Perform cash reconciliation, end‑of‑day balancing, and general filing duties.
• Ensure proper understanding and processing of centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.

Required profile

• Knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Familiarity with ADIB’s operational policies and procedures.
• Understanding of UAE banking practices, regulations, and associated risks.
• Awareness of competitors in the local market and regulations issued by the Central Bank of UAE.
• Fair knowledge of service standards and cross‑sales processes.
• Computer skills.
• UAE national status.
