Teller

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and customer‑focused Teller to handle day‑to‑day financial transactions, ensure accurate cash handling, and provide a positive customer experience. The position is based in Dubai and requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments and other cash operations accurately.
• Verify customer identification and supporting documents in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Ensure accuracy in cash counting, reconciliation and transaction records.
• Provide customers with information on available products and services.
• Refer customers to relevant team members for additional service needs.
• Identify and report unusual or suspicious transactions according to AML/compliance guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and transaction information.
• Handle customer queries professionally and courteously.
• Adhere to operational, cash‑handling and compliance procedures while working efficiently in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Teller, Cashier, Exchange House Teller or in banking operations is preferred.
• Strong numerical and cash‑handling skills with high attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic understanding of AML, KYC and financial compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts and relocate within the UAE.
• Comfortable with a fixed salary of AED 3,000 per month.
