Temporary Receptionist – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a temporary Receptionist for Yas American Academy on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The role involves providing high‑quality customer service to visitors, parents and staff while supporting the school’s administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls and manage the reception area.
• Provide information about the school, its curriculum, tuition fees and admission process.
• Support the Admissions team with inbound and outbound calls and log enquiries into the MIS database.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, printing, mail handling and arranging transportation for visitors.
• Undertake word‑processing, database, Excel and internet research tasks, and produce required lists and reports.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school certificate.
• At least two years of experience in a school or customer‑focused environment.
• Strong English language skills and ability to work with non‑native speakers.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with database entry and basic IT tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
