Theoretical Knowledge Instructor – Aviation Training

About the role

At Etihad Aviation Training, the Theoretical Knowledge Instructor delivers high‑quality classroom instruction that supports the licensing, qualification and professional development of student pilots, flight crew members, instructors and examiners. The role operates within a regulatory‑approved environment, ensuring learners acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence required for aviation careers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical knowledge training in line with regulatory requirements, approved syllabi and Etihad standards.
• Conduct courses that support licensing, qualification and development of pilots, crew, instructors and examiners.
• Maintain the highest levels of instructional effectiveness, standardisation and training quality.
• Monitor trainee performance, provide feedback and intervene when performance concerns arise.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.

Required profile

• College degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years’ experience delivering theoretical knowledge instruction, preferably within an EASA or GCAA‑approved ATO.
• Relevant operational knowledge of the subjects to be taught and compliance with GCAA CAR‑FCL and CAR‑ORA regulations.
• Current or previously held professional pilot licence is advantageous.
