Tool & Assets Management Representative

About the role

The Tool & Assets Management Representative will oversee the territory’s tool fleet, ensuring timely delivery, proper configuration, and efficient return of tools, spares and accessories for pipeline and facility projects. The role works closely with Project Managers, the corporate TM team and the Territory Director to maintain accurate inventory and support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange delivery of tools, spares and accessories to sites, ensuring correct configuration and assembly.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to confirm tool return dates and manage return shipments.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping, accurate records and inventory of tools, spares and accessories.
• Monitor inventory levels, avoid shortages, and arrange proper storage, labeling and cleaning after use.
• Produce monthly reports on planned tool usage, inspection run success rates and tool performance.
• Charge projects for tool damage caused by mishandling and suggest design improvements.
• Oversee shipping of tools and spares between sites, corporate TM and suppliers.
• Forecast, budget and purchase (or return) tools and spares for the upcoming year, reflecting manpower and workshop capacity.
• Record unused spares and update inventory, encouraging optimal tool utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in a tool and production role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Advanced GMP training with proven ability to implement GMP procedures.
• Strong command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work flexibly across the territory and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
