Trade and Retail Merchandiser – Building Materials

About the role

Our client, an international manufacturer of plumbing and building materials, is looking for a proactive Trade and Retail Merchandiser to boost product visibility and sales across the UAE. You will work closely with retail stores, installers and wholesale partners to generate leads and capture market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage in‑store product presence and visual merchandising.
• Develop relationships with installers and small‑scale contractors.
• Generate and qualify leads for wholesale partners.
• Capture market intelligence and relay insights to the sales team.
• Support retail, trade and wholesale partners while escalating larger opportunities.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of merchandising experience, preferably in construction, plumbing or sanitaryware.
• Familiarity with MEP, plumbing and heating systems.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE retail, trade and distribution landscape.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities for multiple daily store visits.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Good command of Indian dialects and fluent English (spoken and written).
