Trade Finance Solutions Operations Expert

About the role

Bunge is seeking a Trade Finance Solutions Operations Expert to act as a key control layer between commercial teams, banking partners, and operational execution. You will ensure complex commodity trade finance transactions are properly structured, documented, risk‑assessed, and executed in line with internal policies and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, structure, and validate Structured Letters of Credit and related trade finance documentation.
• Provide expert advice on transaction structures, wording, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
• Assess and approve complex, non‑standard, multi‑bank and cross‑border financing structures.
• Serve as the control bridge between commercial structuring and operational execution.
• Support global execution teams on exceptions, best practices, and complex transaction handling.
• Collaborate with banks, clients, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Monitor transaction accuracy, financial flows, and operational controls to ensure timely and precise execution.
• Drive operational excellence through strong governance, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant experience in commodity trade finance operations.
• Proven ability to solve complex challenges and influence critical business decisions.
• Strong understanding of banking, risk management, and global trade processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on risk control and compliance.
