Trainee Procurement Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Rejlers is seeking a newly graduated UAE national to join its Abu Dhabi office as a Trainee Procurement Engineer. The role offers a structured introduction to procurement processes within the oil & gas, petrochemical and renewable energy sectors, supporting the company’s regional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans that align with project and business requirements.
• Review, compare and analyse products and services to recommend optimal purchases.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and maintain accurate records of inventory, pricing and suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Conduct market research to identify new supply options and evaluate cost‑benefit analyses.
• Prepare budgets, cost analyses and regular procurement reports for management.

Required profile

• UAE national with a recent degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related engineering discipline.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Motivation to learn, share ideas and uphold quality and safety standards.
