Trainee - Project Engineer

About the role

This trainee position is part of EDGE Group's entry‑level program for UAE nationals. It offers recent graduates a chance to work on real defence projects while gaining hands‑on experience in electronics and mechatronics.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical training modules covering electronics, mechatronics, networks and security.
• Operate, configure and troubleshoot defence‑related systems under mentor guidance.
• Document test results, prepare reports and contribute to team discussions.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student) in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and curiosity to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Prior internship or project experience in a technical area is a plus but not mandatory.
