Training & Quality Assistant Manager – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Training and Quality Assistant Manager to support the Waldorf Astoria in Dubai. The role will drive hotel-wide training initiatives, ensure compliance with Hilton standards, and enhance service excellence across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver corporate and hotel training programs, including diversity and inclusion, new‑team member orientation, leadership and service excellence.
• Assess training needs through performance trends, guest feedback, quality audits and consultations with department heads.
• Develop, source and recommend targeted training solutions and maintain up‑to‑date training materials aligned with Hilton standards.
• Oversee departmental training such as Food Safety, Alcohol Awareness and other compliance programmes, conducting audits and follow‑ups.
• Maintain accurate training records, manage the annual training calendar and produce monthly/quarterly activity reports.
• Partner with managers to analyse performance data, identify development opportunities and implement action plans.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, SOP reviews and guest‑feedback analysis to support Forbes Travel Guide and other quality standards.
• Champion a culture of continuous learning, coaching and brand values throughout daily operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel training, learning and development or quality management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and guest feedback.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding brand standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel training best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., Food Safety, Alcohol Awareness).
• Familiarity with Hilton training frameworks and quality audit processes.
