Training Specialist – Emiratization Focus

About the role

The Training Specialist will plan, develop and support the implementation of ADNOC's training policies, procedures and programmes, with a strong emphasis on Emiratization and the development of UAE nationals. The role involves coordinating internal and external training initiatives, monitoring budgets and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and rollout of training policies and procedures.
• Advise management on training objectives and recommend modifications to meet corporate goals.
• Conduct annual training needs analysis and produce the company’s training plan.
• Evaluate training course design, cost, relevance, quality and instructional methods.
• Monitor implementation and completion of in‑house and external training programmes, providing performance reports.
• Research and propose international best practices and benchmarking for corporate training.
• Liaise with training providers locally and abroad, assessing course quality and suitability.
• Coordinate the design of bespoke modules to meet ADNOC‑specific business requirements.
• Develop, deliver and assess workshops and learning sessions to improve training systems.
• Provide technical advice to directorates on on‑the‑job training programmes and recommend adjustments.
• Manage the English Language Training Program, including assessment strategies and overseas training arrangements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing, delivering and evaluating corporate training programmes.
• Familiarity with UAE labour regulations and Emiratization objectives.
• Strong analytical skills for training needs analysis and budgeting.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders and external training organisations.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
