Transplant Medical Scientific Liaison

About the role

Sanofi is hiring a Transplant Medical Scientific Liaison for its General Medicines Medical team, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will act as the scientific bridge between Sanofi and the transplant community, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals across the Gulf region. The role sits within the diabetes, transplant and immunology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain peer-level relationships with healthcare professionals, transplant centers and scientific leaders across the Gulf region.
• Lead balanced, evidence-based scientific exchanges with transplant specialists, nephrologists, hepatologists and multidisciplinary transplant teams.
• Deliver medical education and scientific presentations on transplant disease management, clinical practice and therapeutic options.
• Support clinical research by engaging with investigators, facilitating studies and contributing to real-world evidence generation.
• Gather and share field-based medical insights and competitive intelligence to inform medical and commercial strategy.
• Represent Sanofi at transplant congresses, symposia and scientific meetings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance teams.

Required profile

• Experience in transplantation, in a medical or commercial capacity; transplant experience is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing or a related healthcare field.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time across Gulf countries.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the transplant field, including disease management, immunosuppression and clinical practice.
• Excellent scientific communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage healthcare professionals as a peer.
