Transport Planner & Modeller (CUBE / STEAM)

About the role

The position involves delivering STEAM modelling using CUBE Voyager for TMP, CTMP and DST studies, from data acquisition through to final reporting. You will lead projects independently, coordinate with clients, and ensure model outputs meet ITC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop STEAM models in CUBE Voyager, handling road networks, zones, land use, junctions and public transport data.
• Run reference and scenario analyses for 2030 and 2040, extract outputs and produce V/C, turning flow and demand‑difference plots.
• Prepare trip generation and parking demand using the Abu Dhabi Trip Generation and Parking Rates Manual.
• Conduct junction analysis in SIDRA, Synchro and HCS, and perform manual link V/C and queue checks.
• Produce polished technical reports with tables, figures and maps, and present findings to clients and ITC committees.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5–8 years of transport modelling experience with hands‑on CUBE usage.
• Working knowledge of STEAM and the ITC TIS/TMP process (ADG‑039).
• Strong written and spoken English and confidence presenting to clients and authorities.
