Treasury Accountant – Cash Management & Payroll

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Accountant to lead cash management and payroll activities for a global energy maritime logistics leader. The role ensures accurate cash forecasting, fund allocation, and timely processing of employee payments while supporting the company’s financial stability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare short‑ and long‑term cash forecasts and secure sufficient funds to meet payment obligations.
• Return unutilized shareholder funds and distribute periodic shareholder income.
• Monitor petty‑cash holdings, ensuring proper utilization and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate cash and bank ledgers; resolve discrepancies with banks.
• Oversee interest‑bearing accounts, calculate bank interest, and manage fund allocation across accounts.
• Process employee payments via bank transfers, cash, or cheques and reconcile advances.
• Create provisions for expatriate end‑of‑service gratuities and UAE national pension contributions.
• Verify and execute end‑of‑service benefit payments in line with policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, ACA or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or banking.
