Finance Controller – Financial Planning & Reporting

About the role

We are a fast‑growing IT outsourcing startup in the UAE looking for a Finance Controller to lead our financial operations. You will drive strategic financial planning, ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax laws, and provide insights that support executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial plans to support business growth and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE tax regulations and other local financial laws.
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
• Monitor financial risks, assess internal controls and devise mitigation strategies.
• Analyze cash flow, P&L statements and cost structures to improve performance.
• Partner with departments and external partners to drive financial performance and advise on investments, funding and capital allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CFA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting and business analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
