Treasury Officer

About the role

As a Treasury Officer you will support the day‑to‑day operation of the firm’s treasury function, including cash positioning, bank reconciliation, reporting and data integrity across banking and payment platforms. The role offers exposure to crypto‑friendly payment ecosystems and works closely with the Head of Treasury to keep cash visibility accurate and treasury reporting audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash position, liquidity and treasury KPI reports and maintain dashboards with variance analysis.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank, PSP and EMI accounts, investigate exceptions and operate AI‑assisted matching tools.
• Monitor cash positions across multiple entities and currencies, support inter‑company transfers and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Manage banking relationships, handle onboarding of new markets/products and provide fee, rate and FX analysis for negotiations.
• Track currency exposure, assist with FX hedges and support compliance checks and audit requests.
• Test and roll out automation, reconciliation and reporting tools, collaborating with Finance IT and Engineering.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in treasury, financial operations or accounting, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes, general‑ledger fundamentals and safeguarding regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical instincts and clear written communication.

Required skills

• Experience with treasury management systems such as Kyriba, GTreasury or Nomentia.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms like Xero, Planergy or NetSuite.
• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills for handling large transaction datasets.
• Use of AI‑assisted reconciliation and automation tools.
