Unit Head - Program & Project Management Delivery

About the role

The Unit Head will lead the Program & Project Management Delivery function within ADIB's Technology Transformation & Portfolio Management division. This senior position is responsible for end‑to‑end oversight of technology program and project execution, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, quality and governance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of the technology program and project portfolio, setting priorities, milestones and recovery actions.
• Maintain integrated plans, baselines, resource forecasts and financial forecasts, monitoring critical paths, risks and issues throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with sponsors and business/technology stakeholders to define outcomes, acceptance criteria and ensure benefits realization.
• Oversee vendor performance, contractual commitments and project financials, driving value for money and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with PM governance standards, risk management, quality assurance and post‑implementation reviews.
• Develop and manage the PM delivery workforce, including UAE National talent, capacity planning and succession.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in large‑scale technology program and project delivery, managing complex portfolios and significant financial exposure.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and resolve dependencies.
• Demonstrated capability to build and develop high‑performing delivery teams, including coaching and succession planning.
