About the role

We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a US Stock Market Trader. The role involves active participation in equity markets, development of advanced trading strategies, and contribution to consistent portfolio growth within a high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct active trading of US equities using fundamental and technical analysis while maintaining discipline and accuracy.
• Monitor macroeconomic events, earnings releases, and market news to identify opportunities and manage portfolio exposure.
• Implement, evaluate, and refine proprietary trading strategies based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Execute trades via electronic platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk guidelines.
• Analyse trade performance, maintain comprehensive records, and report activity to senior management.
• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and technology teams to optimise execution and share market intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience trading US equities with a demonstrable performance record.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMT or similar are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic trading platforms.
• Experience using market data software.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
