Vehicle Inspector

About the role

Bayut & dubizzle are seeking a Vehicle Inspector to join the dubizzle Cars team in Dubai. You will conduct thorough inspections of cars of all body types, document findings, and produce detailed reports that support our online marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for compliance with emission standards and governmental regulations.
• Evaluate engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, interior, electrical systems, air‑conditioners, tyres and ECU/sensors.
• Assess paint condition, accidental damage and wear‑and‑tear.
• Identify missing, dysfunctional or illegal parts and equipment.
• Conduct VIN investigations and review auction history, accidents and total‑loss claims.
• Take professional photographs of the vehicle and any identified issues.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and review them against post‑inspection checkpoints.
• Suggest corrective actions for vehicles that fail inspection.

Required profile

• High School diploma or Mechanical Diploma.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• 5+ years of experience as a vehicle inspector.
• Mechanical and electrical automotive work experience.

Required skills

• Use of automotive inspection equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Vehicle photography for documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency.
