Vehicle Technician – Autonomous Sensor Specialist

About the role

The Vehicle Technician is the specialist responsible for inspecting, testing and validating the sensor and mechanical hardware of Moove’s autonomous vehicles. This junior‑to‑mid‑level, hands‑on role ensures that lidar, radar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors and compute units meet safety and performance standards before deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured inspections of all AV sensor hardware, verifying installation, alignment, physical condition and connectivity.
• Perform functional checks and readiness validations for lidar, radar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors and compute units using defined checklists and SOPs.
• Validate mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses and mounting systems for structural integrity.
• Document inspection results accurately and support root‑cause analysis of any defects.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and the AV Safety Manager to flag issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain records of hardware performance and ensure compliance with operational safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in automotive hardware inspection, testing or related technical roles.
• Hands‑on experience with sensor hardware such as lidar, radar, cameras and ultrasonic sensors.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, work safely on vehicle platforms and communicate findings clearly.
• Junior to mid‑level technical background; formal qualifications are not mandatory.
