Veterinary Clinic Manager

About the role

A leading, well-established veterinary clinic for camels in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Clinic Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and lead a multidisciplinary team. The manager ensures smooth clinic operations, high-quality client and patient care, and effective management of veterinary, nursing and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and drive efficient, client-focused service delivery.
• Lead, coach and manage veterinary, nursing and administrative teams, including scheduling, delegation and performance follow-up.
• Implement, monitor and improve SOPs and workflows across reception, consultation, treatment and follow-up.
• Manage appointment systems, client flow and waiting times.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and clinical staff to support case flow and timely service.
• Monitor and report operational KPIs (revenue, utilization, client feedback, efficiency) to senior management.
• Oversee inventory and procurement of medical supplies, consumables and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies on veterinary practice, quality, safety and infection control.
• Handle client escalations and complaints professionally.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of staff with HR and external partners.
• Contribute to marketing and client engagement activities such as campaigns, events and partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Veterinary or Animal Science, or a related field; a Master's is an advantage.
• 5-7+ years of experience in a veterinary or animal farm setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience managing teams in a veterinary environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills, with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach.
• Professional communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and flexible to clinic working hours.
