Vice President, Credit – Structured Finance

About the role

The Vice President, Credit – Structured Finance will lead detailed credit assessments and appraisal memos for corporate and structured financing, manage the health of an allocated portfolio, and guide a team of credit analysts. The role also supports budgeting, regulatory reporting, portfolio reviews and MIS from a Group Credit perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Handle credit evaluation and approval for corporate lending and structured debt across sectors, including working capital, trade, project finance, asset finance, real‑estate and leveraged finance.
• Analyse complex transaction structures, asset quality and counter‑party risk; review term sheets, set credit terms, covenants and seniority, and monitor ongoing exposure.
• Manage the allocated portfolio through annual reviews, covenant monitoring, delinquency tracking and early‑warning alerts, coordinating with business counterparts.
• Lead or participate in digitalisation and automation projects, representing Group Credit and driving initiatives.
• Guide and train a small team of credit analysts, ensuring compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of banking experience, with 5‑7 years focused on structured debt and financing.
• Strong understanding of structured‑debt products, multi‑sector asset valuation and regulatory frameworks (Basel, IFRS 9, ECL).
• Proven ability to manage large credit portfolios, conduct stress testing and handle high‑net‑worth client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Commerce or related field.
