Vice President - DM Portfolio

About the role

The Vice President – DM Portfolio will lead development projects from inception to completion, coordinating internal and external consultants and stakeholders. Reporting to the line manager, the role focuses on business development, feasibility studies, and delivery of land, residential, retail and mixed‑use assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing business development activities for land, residential, retail and mixed‑use assets, including identifying new development opportunities and sourcing joint‑venture or project‑finance partners.
• Develop and review feasibility studies, cost estimates and financial models in collaboration with Partnerships & Investments, Operations and the Delivery team.
• Monitor design, construction progress and risk registers, provide monthly progress reports and recommend solutions to major issues.
• Coordinate land allocation, phasing plans, pricing benchmarks and infrastructure costing, ensuring timely hand‑over of government‑related assets.
• Support commercial, marketing, asset, project‑management and facilities‑management strategies to maximise profitability and project attractiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of development management experience on large residential and retail projects valued over AED 500 million.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, land economics, property valuation, architecture or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of the GCC real‑estate market and experience with master developers generating at least AED 2 billion annual revenue.

Required skills

• Valuation, appraisal and financial modelling of residential and commercial developments.
• Understanding of architectural design, construction processes and contract procurement policies.
