Vice President, FP&A Business Finance – Islamic Banking

About the role

The Vice President of FP&A Business Finance will serve as the finance business partner for the Islamic Banking division, providing strategic insights and financial stewardship to drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted finance advisor to Islamic Banking business heads, delivering performance analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Lead monthly management reporting packs and support the annual budgeting process.
• Collaborate with Group FP&A to ensure data integrity and accurate product line reporting.
• Maintain transparency of financial performance, meeting regulatory, accounting, and governance standards.
• Oversee financial control, risk management, and audit processes, addressing findings and implementing recommendations.
• Support the implementation of finance-related systems projects in partnership with technology and business teams.
• Mentor and develop junior finance team members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within Islamic Banking or a similar regulated financial environment.
• Proven track record of strategic financial advisory and business partnering at senior levels.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and audit coordination.
• Leadership capability to guide and develop junior staff.
