Vice President - Group Strategy & Corporate Development

About the role

The Vice President will lead the development and execution of Rakbank’s enterprise strategy and transformation agenda, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of Rakbank’s enterprise strategy and transformation agenda.
• Partner with business and support functions to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Conduct market, competitor, customer and industry analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, investments and other corporate development opportunities, building financial models and valuation analyses.
• Coordinate due‑diligence and cross‑functional workstreams across finance, risk, legal, compliance and technology teams.
• Prepare Board, Executive Committee and senior leadership presentations and strategy papers, and monitor progress of strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting or private equity.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to solve complex business challenges and influence senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline; MBA, CFA or similar postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated track record of managing multiple strategic initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
