Vice President – Infrastructure Managed Services

About the role

Own the operation of Aldar’s physical and network technology foundation, delivering a reliable, secure and cost‑disciplined infrastructure service across the Group and its subsidiaries. The role is intended for a UAE national and is focused on directing outsourced managed services to measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own operation of networks, firewalls, data centres and connectivity across Aldar and its subsidiaries, ensuring high availability, performance and capacity.
• Direct outsourced IT Managed Services contracts, set service levels, monitor performance and manage vendor relationships to deliver reliable outcomes.
• Implement infrastructure resilience measures such as redundancy, fail‑over and disaster recovery, and execute security controls in partnership with Information Security.
• Drive modernization initiatives including automation, software‑defined infrastructure and cloud alignment while maintaining cost transparency and optimisation.
• Build and lead the infrastructure team, develop engineering depth and support Emiratization objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of leadership experience in infrastructure operations for large, multi‑entity organisations.
• At least 2 + years of managerial experience overseeing outsourced services and contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• UAE national citizenship as required.
