Vice President Operations

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Vice President / General Manager – Operations to assume full leadership and P&L accountability for our advanced‑manufacturing business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee multiple facilities and drive world‑class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full business P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, EBITDA, budgeting, forecasting, cost optimisation and capital expenditure.
• Lead all manufacturing functions across several sites: production, quality, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, planning, logistics, procurement, warehousing and HSE.
• Drive operational excellence using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, Industry 4.0 and automation.
• Establish a Zero Harm, Zero Defects culture and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Maximise OEE, asset utilisation and KPI performance through robust manufacturing strategy and capacity planning.
• Build strong OEM customer relationships, overseeing program launches, delivery, quality and commercial commitments.
• Improve supplier performance, strategic sourcing, inventory optimisation and supply‑chain resilience.
• Lead organisational transformation, governance, risk management and business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head, Operations Director, GM or VP role.
• Mandatory Tier‑1 automotive manufacturing experience serving global OEMs.
• Proven track record of leading multiple facilities with full P&L responsibility.

• Compliance standards: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Operational metrics: OEE, asset utilisation.
• Quality tools: TQM, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC.
• Digital manufacturing and automation expertise.
• Experience with greenfield plant setup, commissioning and operational readiness.
