Vice President - Organization Development

About the role

The Vice President of Organization Development will lead Aldar's change and transformation initiatives, ensuring the operating model aligns with business needs. This senior role combines strategic OD leadership with the integration of AI, automation and advanced analytics across the function.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to design and implement organization-wide development programs, including M&A, joint ventures and spin‑offs.
• Develop and execute the OD AI roadmap, building AI agents, digital platforms and workflow automation to enhance organization design and workforce planning.
• Lead workforce planning and budgeting using predictive analytics, AI‑assisted scenario modelling and tools such as Orgvue.
• Manage end‑to‑end position‑management processes through workflow automation (Jira) and AI tools, ensuring accurate HR system records.
• Conduct organizational assessments with advanced analytics and AI‑enabled insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Facilitate strategic discussions with senior leadership to drive change management and align on organizational priorities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Organization Development, HR business partnering or consulting, preferably within large GCC conglomerates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; MBA or HR certification (CIPD, Doctorate) preferred.
• Proven track record in workforce planning, position management and large‑scale organizational structuring.

Required skills

• Experience with large language models (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and AI agents for process redesign.
• Proficiency in automation platforms such as Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
• Advanced analytics and predictive modeling using tools like Orgvue.
• Workflow automation expertise with Jira.
