Vice President – Property Insurance (Dubai)

About the role

The Vice President – Property Insurance is responsible for generating new property insurance business, retaining renewals, and managing client relationships with brokers, intermediaries and the company’s own development team. The role contributes to profitability through risk management, business development and ensuring high standards of professionalism and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, analyse and execute sales strategies to secure new and renewal business and increase market share.
• Achieve or exceed assigned premium targets across designated areas.
• Monitor premium collection, follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely receipt.
• Prepare management reports, analyse market conditions and recommend actions to counter competition.
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to drive growth and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee underwriting, risk inspection and proper allocation of reinsurance cessions.
• Review policy documents for accuracy and coordinate dispatch to customers and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, Arts or Business Administration (Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute, London – desirable).
• 8‑12 years of experience in general insurance, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial position.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, with excellent presentation ability.
