About the role
You will join the Italian Corporate team at the Abu Dhabi branch, reporting to the General Manager. The role focuses on managing and developing relationships with Italian‑related corporate clients operating in the UAE, delivering tailored banking solutions and supporting portfolio growth.
Key responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, secure mandates and negotiate transaction terms.
- Prepare and submit credit proposals, review transaction documentation and ensure timely credit reviews.
- Monitor portfolio credit quality, facility utilisation and overdrafts, escalating any material deterioration.
- Ensure compliance with Group policies, AML, sanctions and embargo requirements, including due diligence on clients.
- Prepare portfolio budgets, coordinate regulatory reporting and manage Assistant Relationship Managers supporting the desk.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in corporate banking.
- Strong knowledge of bank products and services and sound understanding of credit risk analysis.
- Effective communication and commercial skills.
