Vice President Technology – Corporate Payments, Liquidity & Virtual Accounts

About the role

The Vice President of Technology will lead the strategic technology vision and delivery for Mashreq's Corporate Payments, Liquidity Management and Virtual Account Management platforms. Reporting to senior bank leadership, the role drives architecture, modernization and large‑scale transformation across the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap for Oracle Banking Payments, Liquidity Management and Virtual Account Management solutions.
• Align technology initiatives with the bank’s digital transformation and growth objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end implementation, upgrade, migration and multi‑country rollout programmes.
• Promote adoption of modern architecture principles, APIs, cloud readiness, micro‑services, automation and digital payment technologies.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, compliant and meet regulatory and audit requirements across UAE, Gulf, Asia, Europe and the US.
• Provide executive leadership and stakeholder management for complex digital transformation programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in banking technology, with extensive exposure to Oracle Banking products.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, multi‑geography technology transformations.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and governance experience.
• Deep understanding of regulatory, compliance and audit requirements in the financial sector.
