Visual Merchandiser

About the role

Careers International is hiring a full-time Visual Merchandiser in Dubai. The role is responsible for the overall visual presentation of the store to maximise sales performance and customer satisfaction, keeping the store layout customer-friendly and aligned with concept guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain uniformity of store fittings, hangers and signage, and keep sections clean, neat and well organised
• Oversee garment care such as steaming and size cubing, and coordinate and execute store props and show windows before each season launch
• Ensure in-store displays and product placements follow brand standards and refresh floor layouts based on merchandise movement
• Adjust displays during sales to meet commercial needs and plan sale signage for the territory
• Maintain VM schedules for individual brands, run VM checklists and train the store team and visual coordinators
• Visit competitors regularly to understand market trends and update the Concept VM team on store performance
• Collaborate with the Store Manager, Inventory Controller and Concept VM team, monitor stock levels and report on time

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related retail position, preferably in fashion or FMCG
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and creative, aesthetic skills
• Ability to plan and execute visual concepts and handle store inventory and stock management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, independent work and effective time management
