Visual Merchandising Executive (1-year contract)

About the role

As part of the Fragrances & Beauty Middle East & India Marketing Team, you will implement the wholesale visual merchandising strategy across the Middle East, focusing on the UAE. You will report to the Regional Merchandising Manager and collaborate with Chanel’s Head Office in Paris, local market teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop regional visual merchandising guidelines for each campaign and select or create locally relevant assets, with a strong focus on the UAE.
• Create three‑axis planograms, particularly to address makeup merchandising challenges.
• Manage high‑resolution visual and movie orders, ensuring approved visuals, colour proofs and market‑adapted loops are delivered.
• Provide campaign forecast recommendations and communicate updates or changes to local teams.
• Produce detailed VM reports after each campaign, capturing execution, feedback and key learnings.
• Coordinate suppliers for VM campaign production, ensuring materials meet Chanel quality standards and installation timelines.
• Manage invoicing and budgets by product line and market, preparing budget meetings accordingly.
• Work closely with local teams on all VM needs, conduct regular store visits across the UAE and other markets to assess execution, identify gaps and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support boutiques with their VM needs and assist the Regional Merchandising Manager on permanent merchandising projects.
• Animate the regional VM community through newsletters, training sessions and key communications.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, creative, proactive and dynamic approach to visual merchandising.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, suppliers and budgets simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills for effective collaboration with local teams and internal stakeholders.
• Sensitivity to luxury retail, brand image and in‑store execution.
• Adaptability and confidence in a fast‑moving, multi‑market environment.
