VP - Analytics

About the role

Working at the intersection of quantitative modelling, software engineering and investment analytics, you will lead the evolution of a proprietary in‑house platform while staying hands‑on with architecture, coding and model development.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance a proprietary liquidity and return modelling framework for public and private market investments.
• Lead development of institutional‑grade analytical applications built in Python and SQL to support portfolio management and balance‑sheet modelling.
• Design and oversee enterprise data architecture, ETL processes and system integrations across investment, performance and accounting platforms.
• Deliver scalable analytics and reporting solutions for senior leadership and governing committees.
• Manage external development resources, establishing engineering standards, governance and technical best practice.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience within sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, insurance asset managers, secondaries investors or similar institutional platforms.
• Proven experience developing quantitative models for liquidity forecasting, cash‑flow projection, commitment pacing, return forecasting or asset allocation across public and private markets.
• Advanced hands‑on programming experience in Python and SQL with the ability to analyse, debug and enhance production code independently.
• Strong knowledge of investment data architecture, database technologies, ETL frameworks and Snowflake environments.
• Previous experience leading technical resources and collaborating directly with investment professionals, portfolio analytics teams and senior stakeholders.
