VP Customer Experience & Conduct Audit (UAE National Only)

About the role

The Vice President of Customer Experience and Conduct Audit will lead enterprise‑wide risk identification and mitigation for Mashreq. This senior position focuses on enhancing risk culture, especially in digital and customer‑experience domains, and is open only to UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, measure, and quantify risks across the bank, recommending methodology and process improvements aligned with best practices.
• Lead, plan, and execute complex audit engagements, ensuring they follow established priorities and standards.
• Provide focused audit coverage on Customer Experience and other designated domains through thematic, end‑to‑end engagements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Internal Audit Group (IAG) teams to achieve optimal risk coverage and support audit planning.
• Issue audit reports with prioritized risks, delivering accurate and complete findings to senior management.
• Advise business units on product development and process re‑engineering, offering professional opinions that integrate risk considerations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business discipline.
• Professional audit qualification such as CIA.
• Up to 10 years of internal audit or banking experience, with a proven track record in risk‑focused roles.
• UAE national citizenship.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
