VP & Head of Audit – Information Security

About the role

The VP & Head of Audit, Information Security is responsible for planning and executing audits across the Group Security Office, Business Continuity Management, Data domains, Group Technology and System Integration projects both locally and internationally. This senior position provides assurance to management by identifying weaknesses, reporting findings and driving corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audits of Information Security, Business Continuity Management, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Analytics & AI, Technology and System Integration functions across the FAB Group and its international subsidiaries.
• Provide on‑the‑job guidance and training to junior audit staff and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Monitor audit budgets and financial performance, reporting variances to senior management.
• Develop, maintain and update audit programs and risk assessments in the central audit management tool.
• Prepare and present audit reports, negotiate management action plans and ensure timely follow‑up of findings.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a subject‑matter expert in Information Security, IT, Business Continuity, Data Governance and System Integration audit domains.
• Deep understanding of risk management processes and regulatory requirements in the UAE and other jurisdictions where FAB operates.
• Proven ability to interact with senior management and act as a business partner for line functions.
